With over 25 years experience in hosting weddings and functions we are aware that every event is unique and special. This knowledge has earned us the reputation as being one of the premier venues in the area. The hotel is situated on the Victorian promenade in Aberystwyth overlooking beautiful Cardigan Bay - what could be a better backdrop for your wedding pictures?

Everyone in the area seems to know someone that has either held their wedding with us, attended themselves or knows of a couple intending to hold their special day with us. Prospective couples can be assured that from the very first enquiry, to the day itself, our expertise will ensure a successful and memorable occasion. We have two licensed venues for the ceremony itself - the dining room, with stunning views over the bay, and our elegant Atlantic Ballroom. Celebrating your marriage at The Marine will mean that the ceremony, reception, entertainment and accommodation can all be held at the same venue. The Atlantic Ballroom

This is our largest function room and is suitable for gatherings from 60 to 220 in a banquet style. We can cater for evening buffets and can accommodate up to 450 guests.

The Dining Room

With views over the seafront, this room will provide an amazing backdrop to your top table, or even for the ceremony itself. The room can hold up to 120 for a wedding breakfast and 200 for a buffet

The Bistro

Another front facing room which is slightly smaller and is ideal for a more intimate gathering - seating up to 20 guests.

For weddings, included in the package is the use of our silver cake stand and knife for the wedding cake. We can also provide a specially designed seating plan for you to keep. We can hire linen in a range of colours - this can be discussed during your visit.
